I don't spend much time deciding what to wear or hide, but I'll save you some time on what to bake:

This cake is quick to make, and there's not too much of it. It's such a good basic cake that it begs for all kinds of different toppings. Read her notes and you won't have the thick thick caramel in the picture. (The caramel sauce itself is quick and easy and begs to be made just for some ice cream or even just a spoon!!)
The group for whom I baked this agreed that perhaps a thick fresh cranberry reduction would be a great topping. Let me know what you/yours think!!
