- I’m a scribbler of grocery lists that I hand to my husband (because he does all the shopping and most of the cooking.) Early on, I blog-named my husband Atticus because, like Atticus Finch, “he was nearly fifty”(though not feeble*) when I started this blog. Here are all the posts about Atticus.
- I was a homeschooling mom for almost twenty years. The years I spent with my three daughters in our relaxed homeschool were some of the happiest years ever. ❤️ Picture books! Chapter books! Read-alouds! Poetry! Art! Drama! It all made us happy, happy, happy. (We were also forced to do math, but we don't talk about that.)
- The current years — with adult daughters who are now my besties — are also some of the happiest years ever. We still talk about picture books! Chapter books! Read-alouds, poetry, art, drama! It makes us happy, happy, happy! We no longer talk about math. (Shhhh! Do not speak of it.)
- If you're wondering about the shockingly clever blog title, here's the story.
- And I like coffee. A lot. ☕️
