Because I Am a Breathtakingly Interesting Person, I'm Reviewing a Pencil Sharpener Today
Yes, that's right.
I am your source for the myriad electric thrills that come with being a homeschooling mom. Free pencil sharpeners! A free blog on which to review them! I am fascinating!
Troy Decoff offered to send me a free pencil sharpener from his Classroom Friendly Supplies company for possible review and I said, yeah, sure, why not, mostly because it turns out that Troy is a public school teacher and I totally get (since one of my favorite people in the entire world is a public school teacher) that public school teachers, sadly, have to do things to supplement their incomes.
Anyway. The thing arrived a couple of weeks ago and we tried it out. It's a manual sharpener that automatically stops once the pencil is sharp, which is an amiable thing for a pencil sharpener to do. We now have copious sharp pencils, as in, every, single pencil in our house is dangerously pointed.
We've also had to remove lead from the sharpener when said lead has gotten stuck, and Troy's handy-dandy video (on his site) showed us how easy it is to take the sharpener apart.
I haven't done many reviews lately, as I don't have a lot of free time and so I end up reviewing only things or books I love. I actually said out loud, "I love this pencil sharpener."
I did. I said it.
I'm breathtakingly interesting.
