Quick Reviews: Books Worth Reading from 2010 -- The Mom Edition

Small Steps for Catholic Moms by Danielle Bean and Elizabeth Foss

I had the honor of peeking in on this one last spring, pre-publication, but then my endorsement got lost in cyberspace! Ack! If you find said endorsement floating around out there, you'll see that I heartily recommended Small Steps.

It encourages us -- busy mothers -- to use our minds, our , and our hands -- every day, in  small ways, in the pursuit of our vocation. A heartening, schedule-friendly book that will boost a mom's spirits on the bad days and help her to fly even higher on the good ones.

The Handbook for Catholic Moms: Nurturing Your Heart, Mind, Body, and Soul

She's The Original Dot Com Catholic Mom! Lisa Hendey was the Catholic Blogging Mom before Catholic Blogging Moms were cool. Who doesn't need to sip a cup of coffee and some of her wisdom?

Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle's newest book, A Catholic Woman's Book of Prayers is another great "take along" book. Substantial, prayerful, but slim and easy to keep in your purse. You can always count on Donna-Marie when you need a Mom-Boost.
