We chose the yarn awhile back but I just finished this yesterday. After I finished, I found this example of a Hogwarts scarf online (thinking I might post it when I first mentioned the scarf, but then decided to take a picture of ours.) I'm relatively pleased by how much this looks like the fake-real thing. (Or is that the real-fake thing?) Of course, my knitting is much sloppier than the example, but my girls aren't critical fashionistas. They are simply brave and chivalrous Gryffindors who want to stay warm.

I love it! How fun! They are all set for the movie premiere next year (is it next year?)
Go Red Skins. :-)
Nice scarf.
Thanks!
I think, Jenn, that the first part of Deathly Hallows will be released in November of this year, and the second part in the summer of 2011.
God bless you for taking on 3 scarves. You're a better knitter than I am if you can follow through! I'm in the throes of a knitted tie--60 inches of pure torture, and I can barely see my way to the cast off. Good luck!
It looks great. Do you have the book Charmed Knits? I've made a couple of things from that book. My son wants a Ravenclaw hat. I keep trying to steer him to Gryffindor though. Good Work!
Wow, they're identical:)Scarves, by the way, always make great gifts
I don't have Charmed Knits, Carmen. Does it involve patterns? I'll get lost. :)
Looks to me like they could be ISU Fans with their cousin Brian!
Go Clones!
MUCH too cute. Go Gryffs!
