that she will describe to you that thing she ate at McDonald's, and she says:
"First, there's the surprise of the sausage. Then, there's the fluffy lightness of the pancake, and then the sweetness of that syrup. Ooooh, it's delicious!"
I do tend to think, though, that the Food Network stars would be a wee bit put off by the food at McDonald's. Except maybe Sandra Lee, who would sprinkle powdered sugar on top and call it close enough.

I'm laughing... but then I'm also wondering what has both sausages AND pancakes at McDonalds? What am I missing out on here?
Joel told me that Mario Batalle (sp) lets his kids get the toys from McDonald's but not the food. Then again, the ease of McDonald's would not be as tempting if I had a couple of sous chefs!!

Lisa, I agree! :-)
Beck, it's a Mcgriddle -- the pancakes are the bun. But, I wouldn't exactly say you're *missing* anything. :-)
The big question is what would Sandra Lee use as a table-scape for such a meal?
