Inspired by Crinkleroot, we headed out for a nature walk at a local lake yesterday.
Crinkleroot has a snake friend named Sassafrass, who pushes little piles of pebbles together by the seashore. So, yesterday, Ramona and I built pebble piles but Ramona didn't think hers were as nice as Sassafrass's.
"Well," I offered, "Sassafrass gets a lot of practice doing this kind of thing."
"Yes," said Ramona, "she does. When she goes out for her nature slither."
