Ramona and I have been enjoying this book, The Hungry Hummingbird
, by April Pulley Sayre.The author is new to us, but I'll be looking for more of her books. The illustrations in this one are just lovely.
And, after a quick visit to the library website, I see that our library is loaded with her stuff. Can't wait for our next library day!

Thanks for the great recommendation! I just got a new book database program that allows me to categorize all of the books that we own along with books that I have on my wishlist. I will add this title and tag it for our bird unit that is coming up this fall.
