Apparently, she thinks I need outside help

Ramona was up early the other day, and asked if she could see what was on HGTV. For several minutes, she watched a craft whiz make impossibly cute boxes that stored things such as office supplies and sewing notions.

"Mommy!" she exclaimed, motioning me over. "Look at what she did! She made those boxes all by herself! And no one even came over!"

Sounds like Abby's lament that we "need Aunt Mim's help." Unfortunately, Aunt Mim is no longer around to help. It does, however, appear that the particular gene that Aunt Mim possessed that seems to have bypassed me was inherited by my daughter (possibly from both sides of the family), so the next generation should have no cause for such laments. However, I know how you feel, Karen. Maybe Ramona will be the "Aunt Mim" of your family.
