My all in all

What else is there for us but to be tranquil and at peace in the all-enchanting wonder of God’s mercy to us? It falls upon this paper quieter than the morning sun, and then, I know that all things, without His love, are useless, and in His love, having nothing, I can possess all things.

~~ Thomas Merton, A Search for Solitude. Journals, Volume 3. Lawrence S. Cunningham, ed. San Francisco : HarperSanFrancisco, 1997: 35.

This is beautiful and just what I needed to hear this morning. Thanks.

Also, I like the new Donna Reed picture.

I love your subtitle. It's hilarious particularly after Margaret in Minnesota's recent posts. I could definitely relate to that in my blog. Hellllooooo... anyone there? *laugh*

I'm so glad you guys liked it ... I loved that quote, and had to share it.

Suzanne ... "Donna Reed" ... too funny! I hadn't even thought of her, but it's very Reedian, isn't it? :-)

Genevieve, thanks for commenting/listening. ;-)
