Anne-with-an-e woke up very early this morning, after having a nightmare. In the dream, she was watching a movie populated by zombies. The zombies looked like ... mimes.

Ha! I'd never seen real mimes before, but when we lived in Germany, shopping in Nurnburg one day, there were two on the street. They stood perfectly still, so still that my little ones wondered if they weren't manicans. My beloved gave them a coin to drop in the can and they suddenly starting moving like robots. The children were startled but entranced. So was I.
Atticus used to tease me about the horrors of being "a theatre person" (my major, for awhile, waaaay back in college.) But, I do have to admit that I was entranced by Marcel Marceau when he came to our campus. :-)

Poor Anne with an e! No one should have to face a horror of that magnitude!!! : )

I agree with Atticus and Anne-with-an-e. :/
Same goes for circus clowns.
Ooooh, circus clowns are *really* scary. Is there a child in the world who hasn't been traumatized??
