Last year, I was in the middle of giving Anne some gentle guidance on a minor social grace. I don't even remember what it was, but something she'd done had embarrassed her, and I offered some advice on how to deal with the situation when it next arose.
"Oh, I'm so stupid!" Anne exclaimed.
"No, you're not!" I protested. "You just didn't know. Now you do. Next time you'll know."
"And next time," Ramona chimed in, "you won't be stupid!"

I find myself coming back to your blog quite a bit. When I am grumpy or snippy, I read one of these Ramona stories and they make me laugh and calm down. Thanks for sharing them.
