Two days before Christmas, Anne was gobsmacked with stomach flu. We were up all night and she was violently ill (as she always gets with such things.) Though I was sad that she couldn't go to Mass, I was grateful that we were dealing with only a passing virus, and I rejoiced on Christmas Eve with each sip of 7-Up that passed her lips.
This family is not so fortunate, nor so relieved. Please pray for their daughter and the seriousness of this situation. (Thanks to Genevieve Kineke for alerting us.)

So sorry Anne was sick, hope the rest of you don't get it. Thanks for letting us know about the other family's situation. We will be sure to keep them in prayer.
