A free subscription gets you regular emails from the site. Sometimes, we're so busy with other things that I don't spend much time checking them out. But at other times, I'll pour over all the delightful ideas and activities, games and educational resources.
This morning I found a fun little game of "Concentration" that the girls will enjoy.
A few years back, when Betsy's reading had still not taken off, we used Jan Brett's phonogram flash cards to play a version of charades that the girls delighted in. We took turns acting out all the words on a flash card and it had Betsy begging to "do phonics."
We love Jan Brett and her site is a feast for the eyes and the mind.
