I think my FAVORITE Emily book last year was Susan Snively's Poetry for Kids (which Jama reviewed) where there are lovely illustrations of all of the poems. I love the brevity of that prairie poem, and the illustrations just took it over the top.

Ah... Emily! I saw a bee today checking out my lavender that is just about to present itself.

I saw a honey bee
busy in my backyard,
