Poetry Friday: When Was the Last Time You Laughed at Anything to Do With Wallace Stevens?

Two very short poems that are rather irresistible.

Indeed, they are so short I can't reproduce them here (copyright issues, you know), but trust me when I say you should click over to Excerpt from Wallace Stevens' Diary, and Excerpt from Wallace Stevens' Diary, Part II, by Jonah Winter.

The round up this week is at The Poem Farm.

Love the comment before me! What fun that these poems are posted on a site called Fail Better :-)

And here's the Samuel Beckett quote from which the site name comes:

"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again.
Fail better."

That Beckett quote is one of my favorites. And yes, "it's the thing itself"! I laughed. Thank you. Happy Poetry Sunday!
