Giveaway: *After Miscarriage*

Yesterday, I ran a guest post from the authors of The Infertility Companion for Catholics, and offered a chance to win a free copy of their book if you leave a comment on that post.

I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier (other than the fact that I think of most things later rather than sooner) but I'm adding one of my books to the giveaway, too.

If you would like to win a copy of After Miscarriage, please leave a comment below (on this post) to be entered in the drawing. I'll put all the names in a coffee cup and will have Ramona pull one name at random on the morning of May 2nd.

I'd love a copy to give to my friend, who recently suffered a miscarriage.

I'd love a copy.

My husband and I dealt with secondary infertility and repeat miscarriage. Since then, I've had two more children. Sometimes I think I've buried some grief in the busyness of life.

I bought this book but would love another copy to gift to my parish, who helped me thru my own miscarriage. I find miscarriage resources for Catholics can be slim and this was an excellent book! Thank you.

Last year was a rough year for us. We suffered three miscariages back to back and drs would tell me nothing was wrong. They obviously don't know the grief and heartache a mothers heart suffers after such a tragidy. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with our third son and have strong faith that God will carry me through to the end. I pray for all mothers who share this commen struggle that the Lord will give you peace. Job 1:21

God Bless,

Your book came out just as I miscarried in March. I would like to donate the book to my spiritual director so that he may help his parishioners through its wisdom.

I would like to be entered in the giveaway. Having endured 3 early losses and 1 stillbirth, I have a lot of suppressed grief (and sometimes, anger). Even though I have been humbly blessed with 3 children on earth, I still need advice on how to deal with my losses. This book sounds like a big step in the right direction.

I have a lot of friends who could benefit from this book. I will be mentioning it at our mom's group at church.

I've already bought a copy, but I would love to have an extra one to lend out or give away. I am sorry for all of the commenters who have lost babies. I have lost two to miscarriage. I'll pray for you all.

I would love to give this book to my cousin, who suffered a terrible miscarriage. I have another secular book, but it's better to have a Catholic version.

We were blessed to have 3 children. Then we had 3 miscarriages. We were able to have one more child. Then we had 4 more miscarriages. It has been quite a roller coaster of emotions. Through it all I have really learned of the preciousness of life. I am so thankful for all of my children on earth and in heaven. I ponder what God's plans are for each of my children on earth. I feel that all human lives are such miracles! Especially I wonder why my last child was able to be born. I still wonder if there was anything I could have done to have saved any of my miscarried babies. I look forward to being reunited with them in heaven. I take consolation during the Mass knowing that the angels and saints (& our babies) are with us glorifying God. Hosanna in the highest!
