I love this day! Tonight we'll read The Miracle of St. Nicholas, by Gloria Whelan, and the kids will await the coming of St. Nick, who leaves small but fun goodies in shoes. (Now, if my husband is just successful in finding those little bags of chocolate coins today ... are they more scarce this year, or have I just been sloppy in my shopping? It just wouldn't be a Karen-kind-of-prep if I didn't forget something until the last minute ....)
