What Are You Reading?

So, I recently posted on Facebook that I had book hangover and couldn't decide what to read next. After finishing Far From the Madding Crowd, which I loved dearly, I was in a dither. I picked up The One in a Million Boy by Monica Wood over the weekend, but in the meantime, ideas were piling up on the FB post, so I decided to share them here.

I didn't clean up the list -- just grabbed everything that was mentioned, so these are in order of comments. If you'd like to add anything on FB, go here. If you just need to head to Amazon and start clicking, well, we all understand.

Thanks for sharing your list! I just have to underline one of those for you: Grandmother and the Priests. I think it is by Taylor Caldwell. It is one of my all time favorites, and even worth a re-read. If you've not read it, the title is a bit deceptive. Well, it is probably more of an underpinning for the collection of utterly amazing stories from Engand, Ireland and Scotland. I don't want to give it away, but I do hope you'll read it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Sonja, the person who first recommended Grandmother and the Priests was adamant that I should run to that book. I really need to go check it out -- looks like I can get it on Kindle. Thanks!
