Anne-with-an-e (in the Cinderella gown) was about four and a half, and Betsy was almost two.
Although this was before our homeschooling days actually began, this picture (I love this picture) captures the essence of homeschooling in the early years -- what I wanted it to be, what I strove for, what it was at its best.

Wow, what an amazing yard! I really wish I had a space like that for my little one. The homeschooling I imagine for our family includes times spent in the outdoor beauty and we have none of that right now!

Oh that's a fabulous yarden! I look back on my early days of mothering and homeschooling the tiny years with much fondness as well :-)
