Can you all please pray for the people in our neighboring communities?
One of my husband's colleagues lost her home in the double-tornadoes that came through our area on Monday, the people of Pilger had their town demolished, and another huge tornado touched down in Coleridge. As far as I know, at least two people died in these storms. I don't need to post pictures -- you've probably all seen the devastation and the unbelievable twisters on the news.
These communities are practically in our backyard, and we are feeling heart-heavy for all those affected. Your prayers are greatly appreciated!

If you are able to help and would like to make a donation you can head over to Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Omaha. There is a link (under "Recent News -- Stanton County Tornado Disaster Relief") to a Paypal donation page. Thank you, and thanks for your prayers.

Oh Karen, praying for all affected of course!
I thought of you all Monday night/ Tuesday! We had tornadoes come through our town and surroundings monday night as well: serious property damage, including to an elementary school, a university campus, multiple homes, so many mature trees lost!
Summer summer. Phew.

Yes, Karen, I will pray for your neighbors and all those affected by the storms ... God bless and keep you safe!
I'm on it.
Thanks, Tanita! And thanks, Sarah and Ellie, too, and stay safe!
Oh, summer. You really know how to cultivate the love/hate thing.
