In That Case, I'll Call Myself a Morning Person, Too

I'm barely a person in the morning!

The following passage pretty much sums up my take on morning, Karen:

(Amanda) to her son (Tom); "Rise and Shine!"
Tom's response: "I'll rise but I won't shine . . . "

Anyway, apropos of nothing in your post, tomorrow is the first Sunday of Advent, and I wish you a blessed one. Last Saturday evening at the Sunday mass vigil, my priest made the announcement about the fact that Advent, and going forward from there, three things are changing in the mass, including the Gloria (which will be after Advent since we don't say it during Advent) and the creed. This was followed by the lector making the "standard" after mass announcements, which happen to include several collections for one thing or another, to which my priest quipped, "that (the collection) part of mass has not changed . . . "
