Our Lady of the Rosary

"Christ is the supreme Teacher, the revealer and the one revealed. It is not just a question of learning what he taught but of 'learning him'.

In this regard could we have any better teacher than Mary? From the divine standpoint, the Spirit is the interior teacher who leads us to the full truth of Christ (cf. Jn 14:26; 15:26; 16:13). But among creatures no one knows Christ better than Mary; no one can introduce us to a profound knowledge of his mystery better than his Mother."

-- Venerable Pope John Paul II, Rosarium Virginis Mariae

Blessed Feast day to you. I wanted to tell you I finished reading your wonderful book. I am very glad to have purchased it.

I found it informative and very encouraging, especially the later chapters where you give such practical instruction and advice about praying the rosary.

Most of all, I loved your gentle encouragement to just keep doing it, whenever I can, as much as I can, and not discount the value of my prayers when the circumstances aren't perfect because of home life.

The book is reassuring, like a best friend.

God bless you richly this day. You've done Our Lady proud.

Karen--
I said this at Margaret's blog but then I realized I should have put it HERE. Duh me.
A woman on parish council w/ me was talking about how she was having trouble finding time to pray with two little boys, a job, etc., etc. She knew it was important but just didn't feel like it was getting the time it deserved. So I lent her your book.
I got it back from her on Monday and she RAVED about it. She said she got many wonderful good ideas and it going to buy it as Christmas gifts for lots of folks on her list.
You have truly written a wonderful book that is spiritual, profound, and yet so easily accesble. Thank you!!!!

Hi Karen!

I'm so excited to read your book on the rosary -- I have been devoted since college to Our Lady. In fact, I just posted about that devotion on my blog, if you're interested.

Thanks for your wonderful blog!
