All Quiet on the Blog Front

Because sometimes I'm just paralyzed.

And sometimes I'm tired (that nap thing in the blog description is still in force.)

And sometimes I have too many things to write about, so I dither rather than write.

Lots of things on my mind:

  • Need to pursue 4-H projects with the kids. Would love to write more about it.
  • Fun reading: Malcolm Gladwell. Love him. Would love to write more about it.
  • Fun and Angelic reading: by Mike Aquilina. Read it yesterday. Would love to write more about it.
  • Mother's Day is coming up. Would love, not to write about it, but to do something about it. For my mom. Need. To. Shop.
  • A writing project I'm working on. Would love to write about it, but instead, I should write.

And then there's Algebra. Perhaps, on that subject, my daughters would like me to write about, "When in real life are we ever going to use this?"

Perhaps I can apply this to our writing:

"Blogger X has not posted since Friday, but that's beside the point. If Blogger X posts on Monday, and Blogger Y doesn't plan to post until next Saturday, how much will each blogger have to write before their posts to meet on Wednesday, and how many characters over their Twitter allowance will they go?"

Love the general update, especially since Strange than Fiction is one of my very favorite movies. :)

I absolutely LOVE that movie. Everything in it is great. It's a great metaphysical and philosophical film. There's a pretty great little love story. It's a film that raises the bar for the quality of storytelling in recent American films. It's decent. It's good. It's inherently moral. I love it. Every actor in this film plays a character that is pitch perfect.

I love the song he plays for his girlfriend. I had to go find it on eMusic right after I watched that movie. "I'd go the whole wide world... just to find you."

Me too! (I feel like I'm a little kid.) LOVED that movie, and smiled at the mention of it. One of my favs in recent years. Beautifully, masterfully told. But that aside, I am so with you right now, Karen. Cannot keep up with it all; simply cannot. But enjoyed hearing from you about not being able to keep up. :)

I am so with you, Karen. :) About Malcolm Gladwell especially. Thanks for the reminder that I've been MEANING to reserve his new book from the library...

And I too enjoy the general updates. You know, cuz I love the glimpses into your life and I don't get em unless you, well, write about em! :)
