In case you missed this in the long list of ideas, I'm devoting a post to it.
On poster board, draw a picture of a lamb. Divide the body into squares to make a calendar, covering the entire period of Lent. Each day, Ramona will glue a cottonball on that day’s space. She loves this. Here are a couple pictures of last year's lamb:
(In an effort to give credit where credit is due, I must say that the credit for this goes to someone else. I just wish I knew who! I saw a similar ideas in a little newsletter years ago. They suggested gluing cotton balls on a paper plate lamb, but I made our wall calendar instead. So, whoever you are ... you inspired this wall calendar, and we thank you!)

Thank you for this delightful Lenten activity! in Christ, Sara
Oh, I just love that little lambie, gonna do one for My littlest :)
Cute, cute, cute! We're off to Michael's for poster board & little styrofoam balls & googly eyes. (Okay, those last two items are to make Anansi the Spider. ;)
My seven year old is excited to do this...thank you for such a simple and meaningful craft for Lent!
Love this idea and plan to make one tomorrow with my daughter Madeline and also I'm going to include a link at my blog. Thanks for sharing. God bless!
My littlest needs something just for him right now too. This little lambie is perfect! Thanks Karen!
Very cute - do you think I am too old for this??? :-)
Oh my gosh..this is so cute I am passing it on to the lower school teachers...actually my 6th graders would love it too..
I have been WONDERING what I could do with my 3yo (and, even as I have wondered, I have been too busy/preoccupied/lazy to find anything). Thanks for solving that one for me. If you hadn't put this up, I would have never seen it (because I've been behind on blog-reading so I didn't click that link you so thoughtfully provided a few days back).
Very Fun. I think my little ones will love this.

This is one I have not seen before. Very cute!
Karen,
I posted a picture of our little lamb. BigBoy loves it!! Thank you. I hope Ramona gets to see the whole flock she has inspired!
Belatedly, I really must thank you for sharing this adorable idea! We really love ours! (And I love your bean jar, too. So many great ideas! Maybe I should have given up reading blogs for Lent. :) )
