The waiting and watching of Advent begins tomorrow and we'll start reading Bartholomew's Passage tomorrow night. It's one of a trilogy of Advent books by Arnold Ytreeide and we've really enjoyed the two we've previously read. Although the books aren't written by a Catholic, they can easily be used by Catholic families as part of Advent preparation.
You can find more about Ytreeide's books here.
The wreath is out ... the Jesse Tree is up ... let the waiting begin.
