Dreamer is a sweet movie about a little girl, her father, her horse and big dreams. My girls thoroughly enjoyed it (though they did "tsk-tsk" a couple times at the characters' use of mild language, taking God's name in vain, and the mother's dress -- "That thing is too low-cut, Mommy!")
They also liked the references to God's leading in dreams and the crossing of himself before a race by a jockey. They loved the drama, the suspense, the subtle bad guy, the ending. And the ice cream and popcorn in which we indulged completed their satisfaction with this movie.
They give it two sundaes up.

We liked it, too! I never miss a good horse movie. I liked Hidalgo, too, though that isn't family fare.
