Not really strange. We all know that in this case, "raisin" is spelled "c-o-m-p-e-n-s-a-t-i-o-n."


Me: "Strange how I want raisins on my oatmeal now that I've given up sweets for Lent."

Ramona: "Well, Mommy, they are nature's candy."
