Ooooh! Pretty! Love the banner and I like the way the colors coordinate with your book over there on the sidebar! Very lovely!
I like it! Though I can't decide if it's making me crave a cup of coffee or a handful of chocolate covered espresso beans. :)
It looks terrific! Enjoy the post-Lenten coffee too.Blessed Easter!
LOVE the banner. The coffee-addict in me is singing. :)
I love the banner!
It looks great! I really like all the brown tones. It's simple and not at all overwhelming. Good work!
fabulous! wonderful job :-)although I would of course read you regardless of how the background looked.
Lovely! Love the new look.Happy Easter!
Very nice! Love the warm feeling. Love the coffee. ;-)
it's simple and tasteful...very attractive and inviting, as well. Good job!
The new look is very nice. Coffee season again! ;-).
Hahah! Coffee beans! Very appropriate.
How did you design this template?
I like the new look! I was, however, surprised to see coffee beans up there at the top. :)Happy Easter!Janet
Karen, love it! I'm also looking forward to hearing how you did this. Did you use the new Blogger templates? Since I'm starting a separate writing blog soon I would love to know more. Email me if it's easier: firstname.lastname@example.org.Happy Easter!
Very pretty - warm and cozy. I love it Karen.
It makes me want a cup of coffee - as I'm a tea drinker, it must be good! :-) It's very refreshing looking. Blessed, Happy, Holy Eastertide to you and yours!
How did you know that I'm a lazy person who doesn't click over from my reader most of the time...don't answer that! I'm missing out on the creative beauty of the individual blogs...like this one...and vow to turn over a new clicking leaf. I love the look, K. Very you.
Thanks, all! For those who asked about the design, here are some particulars: I used the new features in "Blogger Draft" -- Go here to start, rather than using the usual Blogger dashboard. Click on Layout and go to Template Designer. I started with the template entitled, "Simple" and began customizing from there. The banner photo is one I saved a long time ago, from Stock.xchng. I used Pixenate to resize and then crop the picture for use as a banner. (Thanks to Alicia for letting me know about Pixenate awhile back.) Then, I just played with the design variations until I liked what I saw. Have fun!
It's very nice! I *love* the coffee theme =)
In the words of my 2yo, I YUV IT! :)
I really like it! And because I can relate to your love of coffee, I should change my blog header to a bowl a sugar. :-)
