Yup, we got 'em

But, tonight, the old tried-and-true summer dessert: homemade snow cones, using our old Pampered Chef ice shaver (thanks, Aunt Kathy, for the gift that keeps on giving.) We froze mango juice today, and it made possibly the best snow cones we've made. For tomorrow, the girls requested frozen root beer for the snow cones.

I do have a feeling, though, that Little Debbie won't be left out in the cold.

LOL! I thought of you as I passed the Swiss Rolls in the grocery store. I don't know what it says about my cooking/parenting, but my children are much younger... and defitely know what a Swiss roll tastes like. But the Pampered Chef snow cone is a trick I'll have to learn!

So....did Ramona's taste of these treats live up to her anticipation?? I directed a friend to your 40 reasons to have children post, btw, after she blogged recently about that dreadful French book. ;-)
