Amazon.com: Reminding Me That I Wrote a Book

I woke up to find this in my Inbox:

Dear Amazon.com Customer,

We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated A Mother's Rule of Life: How to Bring Order to Your Home and Peace to Your Soul by Holly Pierlot have also purchased The Rosary: Keeping Company with Jesus and Mary by Karen Edmisten. For this reason, you might like to know that The Rosary: Keeping Company with Jesus and Mary will be released on May 1, 2009. You can pre-order yours by following the link below.

Why, yes, thank you! I would like to know that!

Funny how we sometimes cross paths with the two sides of ourselves -- mother and writer. And it's not always planned (by us anyway). Congrats again! I can't wait to read it.

So, how do get autographed copies? :)

I'll have some here, KC, and you could order one straight from me. I'd be humbled and happy to sign it for you.

Karen, If I order straight from you can I get one quicker than June 1? I have a young friend who just got given a Rosary and I'd dearly like to get a copy of your book into her hands. She was brought up Baptist isn't currently a practicing Christian, but someone just gave her a Rosary and she's learned the Hail Mary, although she says she's not sure why. I offered her a copy of your book and she said she'd be interested. So, how would I go about getting a copy from you? I'd also love an autographed one for Abby (before her due date would be lovely). See what you've stirred up by mentioning that you have some at your house.

Liz, I don't have any here yet and I'm not sure exactly when I'll get a few in my hands. The release date is still set at May 1, so we can go from there ....

That must have been the most pleasing email ever, really...
