Today we woke up to a revolution of snow,
its white flag waving over everything,
the landscape vanished,
not a single mouse to punctuate the blankness,
and beyond these windows

We are having a snowy evening here in Massachusetts. Tomorrow, were it not Saturday and Christmas vacation to boot, I am certain all the schools would be declaring a holiday.
