It's eight below here

That would be eight degrees.

Below zero.

Anyone know of any teaching jobs open in Florida? Atticus is wondering.

Oh, Karen, I feel your pain. I actually had to put on a *sweater* yesterday. (Gasp!) Why, they say it may drop below 60 this week!

Um, that was meant to be DUCKING, of course. I haven't gone Alaskan on you.

Oh Karen you poor thing. I don't know about Florida but it's 60ยบ here right now! Seriously. But sleet and freezing rain are coming later in the week so . . .

It's just, you know, if you're thinking of moving anyway, Lancaster County is a lovely spot. Just remind Atticus how close you would be to Gettysburg! ;-)

I'll stop complaining... it's 30 here, and might sleet today. I have two layers of EVERYTHING on.

Yesterday was 75.

Don't even. We have not seen the upside of zero in quite some time. Not that I'm complaining. It certainly makes for a real Christmas-y feeling.Rosy cheeks and frozen noses and all.

Actually, Lissa, "duckin" would be Texan. ;)

Here I am complaining about 28 degree weather. Wow. 8 below is cold. Can you even go out?

Did you hear that, Karen?

"The Keys always need teachers, Karen!"

I feel a margarita coming on already.

Yes, KC, we can go out, but I try not to! :-)
