Poetry Friday: Clouds and More

Sometimes, other people just do your Poetry Friday posts for you.

Yesterday, I visited Jennifer's blog, and I knew I'd be sending you over there for Poetry Friday. She has a gorgeous picture of clouds, and a link to The Cloud by Percy Bysshe Shelley here. It seemed just right for today. I love the imagery and playfulness of this poem, and who wouldn't love a cloud that can laugh at its own cenotaph?

And, remember a few weeks ago, when I decided it was a good idea to occasionally send you off to other Poetry Friday blogs with a "You've got to see this!"? I'm doing that again, this time wanting to make sure you see the hilarious bag poetry (as in handbags, yes) at Melissa's Wiley's place.

The round-up this week is at Becky's Book Reviews.

Thanks for sending me over. I enjoyed having my head in the clouds today. :)

I admit to not having followed your link, but only because Michele at Scholar's Blog has that Shelley poem up today and I've already read it. It's a lovely choice. Sigh.
