I want Alice to homeschool me

Who wouldn't want to be a part of this beautiful circle of homeschooling friends?

I'm proud of myself for keeping the tree up through the Epiphany, getting the wise men to the stable, and making King's bread (and eating loads of it and calling that a celebration.)

But ... someday, I want "Buche de Noel" to be a part of my Christmas season vocabulary.

Karen, my dream would be to live next door to you. What fun we would have, and our girls were made for each other!

Thank you for the incredibly kind post!!!

And right after Alice Class, I want to head on over to *yours*!

Wouldn't it be fun to be able to pick and choose your entire neighborhood, and fill it up with people like you and Alice and oh, so many others!

Of course, I'd worry that you'd all gate me right out of that community, but hey, I can dream!! :)

Warmly,
Eileen

Yes! I frequently tell my husband, "I want to be Alice when I grow up." And by that I mean in grace, virtue and motherly beauty. He tells me to keep dreaming. :)

I was so very impressed with your King's Bread, Karen. It looked so yummy. We used to make a Buche de Noel every year, alas extravagant baking adventures are far less fun with my son's food allergies.

I want you both to live next door to me. And then I could homeschool my kids, too!
I made a buche de noel for Christmas dinner - they're not that hard, once you get the hang of rolling up cake.
