Thanks to Atticus

We have flowers (these are impatiens, but Four O'clocks work, too) that attract these wonderful hummingbird moths:

Ramona was enchanted.

I never heard of hummingbird moths, so I had to look them up after seeing this. How beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karen:

I've been reading your blog for ages now, but this is my first comment. :)

What a beautiful photo! We live in Vancouver and had one night a few weeks ago when there were about 20 hummingbirds in a tree in our yard. Not sure what type of tree...I'm not so botanically inclined.

Will have to see if we can get some of those flowers for next year!

Love reading about your journey in motherhood.

Thanks, all, and thanks for taking the time to comment! I love to hear from people who've been lurking. :-)

I would LOVE to see 20 hummingbirds in one tree -- what a sight!
