Poetry Friday

I'm afraid I'm not terribly poetic today.

I am capable, at the moment, only of sharing these precise and perfect words from Jane Austen (which are close enough to poetry for me), with gratitude to Google for helping me find them:

"What dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps me in a continual state of inelegance."

If you'd like to visit some real Poetry Friday people, please go visit Kelly at Big A little a today.

I love it! But if it weren't hot, I doubt I could sustain a perpetual state of elegance, either.

Oh I empathise with Jane - and you ! It's ridiculously hot here too, after week and weeks of rain !

One of my favorite quotes of dear Jane, and so appropriate at this timeof the year.
