What Ramona's doing

Is there anything better on a Saturday morning than watching a "Little Bear" DVD and eating a honey sandwich?

And, if you're the four-year-old daughter of an English teacher and a writer, I guess you add this to the equation:

Little Bear (to his friend, Emily): I wish I wasn't sick.

Ramona, (to the TV): I wish I weren't sick ....

I wanted to comment this morning, but I deleted it because I was too afraid of Ramona correcting my grammar. :)
Those are nice moments, aren't they??

My dd would probably never have mentioned it, but my ds might likely have said the same thing. It's partly being the daughter of an English teacher (and a writer), it's partly a passion for correctness which is a temperamental thing. Obviously, she will do well on her SATs someday.
