Things to love on a Sunday

Mass

My daughters in their Sunday finery

The look on Ramona's face while she chooses a donut

The frosting on Ramona's face as she eats a donut

A little nap

A holy hour

Coffee. More coffee

Atticus's homemade bread and beef stew

Ben and Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk

Merlot

My children's love of our Sunday family time, even when it's something as simple as watching a video and eating ice cream

An embarrassment of riches

You deserve an embarrassment of riches, dearest Karen!

Oh, Karen, so true! What you said and what Alice said! :)

I'm with ya, Karen. I would only add one item to that list...a visit from my oldest son to hang out with his family to watch football, and enjoy a great spaghetti dinner.

Add to that list "The Bears starching the over-hyped New Orleans Saints."

Go Bears!

That sounds like a perfect day.

Oh, Atticus, how could I neglect to mention the Bears?! Yes, yes ... added to list:

* Atticus's joy over da Bearss.

Oh, and there was some knitting there, too (for me, not for Atticus or the Bears.)

Karen, every Sunday when we eat donuts after mass, I thank God aloud for our fortunate lives and remind the girls that some children have never been blessed with the opportunity to taste the sweetness of a donut.

What is it about donuts?! :)
