A walk with Ramona

Atticus was taking a walk with Ramona.

"The trees are beautiful," she said.

"Yes," said Atticus. "They are."

"And the grass is beautiful," she said.

"Yes."

"And people are beautiful."

"Yes," said Atticus. "People are beautiful. Do you think all people are beautiful?"

"Yes," said Ramona decidedly.

But then, thinking better of that response, she added. "Except boys. Because ... well, because they're boys."

My Angel was very amused by this. She has reached the mature (OK, slightly more mature) stage of thinking that boys are only mostly annoying!

Margaret,
I've been reading about *lots* of beautiful boys lately on mom blogs, including yours ... but Ramona doesn't read yet. ;-)

Ana -- they're wonderful!

And, Angel ... Ramona is with you, except she forgets that one of her best friends is a boy. :-)
