Another reason I love autumn

The view out of our kitchen window.

Yup. I got the digital camera (but then, you may have guessed that when I was so quick to post a picture of The Lissa Meeting.)

However, lest you think we live in a bucolic paradise, I have to offer full disclosure. There is an evil highway between the horses and us. They keep saying they'll be diverting it soon (perhaps it's all those tax dollars being poured into the library that have kept it from happening.) Then true bucolia will be ours.

In the meantime, though, I still love this view. With or without zooming cars, it's so nice to look outside on a rainy autumn day and see this.

Tell that lazy husband of yours to do something about that fence.

Congratulations on the digital camera! And thank that lazy husband of yours for his contribution to its funding. ;)

I'm so glad you got the digital camera, Karen. I'm forever the visual reader. :)
