This speaks for itself

I have to preface this short post with a couple of explanations:

1. Mr. Putter is our cat.
2. Betsy often calls herself Mr. Putter's mother.
3. Mr. Putter often lies in wait on the stairs, daring children to pass

Now, on with what I overheard:

Ramona, standing at the top of the stairs, saw that Mr. Putter had stationed himself about halfway down.

"Bet-seeeee!" she yelled. "Come and get your wretched son off the stairs!"

Our Oliver sounds like Mr. Putter! He likes to nip ankles as people walk by.

I hope Bet-seeee cooperated.

It's so nice to start the morning with a laugh. Thanks, Ramona, and thanks, Karen.
