Ramona is 4

Yes, it's official. My littlest one is now what the world refers to as a "preschooler." But, according to Ramona, she doesn't yet feel four. She still feels three.

"Hmmm," I said. "When do you think you'll feel four?"

"Oh, I think by tomorrow."

"And what will four feel like?"

"Ummm ... tall."

"Well," said I, her short reduced-height mother. "Don't count on it."

Update:

Ramona just came down the stairs alternating feet, rather than doing the toddler-two-step, and was immensely proud of herself.

"Wow!" I said, "Now that's something a four-year-old can do!"

"Yes," she replied, her head coyly tilted. "I feel a little four."

Happy birthday Ramona!
I can't believe she is four already.

My four-year-old recently told me he knows he's growing up because the hair on his arms and legs is growing longer like his big brother's!

Happy Birthday Wishes, Ramona! :) (My youngest is 4 too, Karen. It's such a sweet age!)

And I, who am currently doing the toddler two step, to go up and down stairs am feeling very 57, this week. I wish I were as spry as Ramona. I'm glad she's feeling a little four.
